In my painting, I refer to the traditions of the color field. I am interested in the search for some metaphysics hidden behind the light coming from the paintings. At the same time, the very process of their creation – that is regular weaving without a previously designated grid – bears the hallmark of a mantra.

I allow myself to be somewhat imperfect, which reflects the organic, spontaneous nature of the world. This way, I implement a certain (non-religious) form of spirituality.

I also like to come back to certain colors to check (just like with wine) if this particular choice will bear satisfactory fruit.
